LOCK-IN DATE
Hello Cheer Parents-I have a date for the lock-in! Please hold the date of Friday, February 10th @ 8:30pm to February 11th @ 9:00am. I need every girl to bring $3 and a 2 liter to help with the cost of food. We will watch a movie, have craft time, dance time, fun time and free time. I will order pizza late that night and we will have snacks available and breakfast on Saturday morning. I hope everyone can attend!
We will have a BRIEF meeting that night @ 8:30 to get a sense of who is interested in returning for next year and let you know some of the decisions Michele has already made for the upcoming season. (She has been a busy little bee) If we are going to be competitive we need to work on fundraising and other things during our time off before the season starts. I will
need help with this, so I will need some parent volunteers.
Parents, please take time to pray before the meeting that God will lead you in the right decision for your daughter and family. This is a big committment and takes its toll on the whole family both emotionally and financially.
Thanks again and we look forward to seeing everyone on February 10th.

We just so happened to check this site for any new information pertaining to the upcoming cheerleading season. Alexis and Alyssa have been cheering for the past few years on pewee team, they will be 8 years old for the upcoming season and I am thinking they would be eligible for the junior team? Please correct me if I am wrong, But the fact that there were 7 year olds on the Juinor Team last year confuses me on what the age group, criteria or how the pewee and junior teams are divided, made up or really how it works. As I read the blog, I am wondring if you guys have already started the junior season? Have you all decided if there are any last year pewees that are qualified? If there are, maybe it would be a good idea that you post a message to anyone from last year pewee that may check this site so if they want to join in on the things that will be going towards junior next season, they have a chance to. I think otherwise it would be a unfair advantage that the previous juniors already had chances to raise money for upcoming events.

There should be a write up in the neighborhood section of the CJ, this Wednesday 2-1-06, on the First Place Win for the JR. Squad at Grand Nationals. I also sent a picture but not sure if they can use it and how they will have to crop it.
